Nutrion Trading PLC, formerly known as Intellect Trading PLC was founded in 2008 as a small nutrition consultancy company. The company has achieved excellent track record in providing exceptional services that meet the expectation of all its clients over the past 10 years.
Nutrion plc has also achieved tremendous growth and has expanded into food science consultancy and nutrition research. In addition, during the past year, the company further expanded its services to health and functional food manufacturing.
Nutrion plc was founded by Aden Ashenafi, a highly qualified and fully registered nutritionist and food scientist currently working both in the UK and Ethiopia. During her training in the UK, Aden gained two BSc’s; Nutritional Science and Nutrition and Human Health with honors and Msc Food Science. Using her knowledge of food science and experience in nutrition, Aden now advises her clients on all aspects of nutrition and health food manufacturing.
Aden is known in the nutrition industry for her charismatic style and motivational skills to help her clients make positive, meaningful, and lasting changes to their health and wellbeing. Having personally witnessed the effects that a busy and stressful lifestyle can have on health, Aden understands the need for no-nonsense regimes based on the most up-to-date scientific research. She provides personalized nutrition plans to her clients that are tailored to meet their individual needs and lifstyle.
In addition to advising clients with a variety of health and weight complaints, Aden offers guidance, work through setbacks a client may have, and help them reach their goal by helping them get to the root of their struggle. Many come to her as a last resort, having struggled in vain with complex health problems and obesity for many years. Aden recognises that everybody is different and works with each individual to create bespoke strategies that are tailored to their unique needs and health objectives.
Most recently Aden founded and developed a range of special nutritional products that are now in the market. Incorporating her knowledge and unique approach into the formulation of each product, she has created a new generation of top quality heath food products designed to safe guard the body against the effects of modern diet and life style.
As well as consulting directly with clients, Aden also works in various food manufacturers as a consultant on New Product Development, HACCP and R & D. She is also brought on to consult for businesses and start-ups within the health sector, developing unique menus; as well as advising on many other aspects related to nutrition and food science.
Aden is a proud member of the two leading UK governing bodies for nutrition and Food Science –The Nutrition Society and Institute of Food Science and Technology.
